A travel story needs more than one perfect view. A small set of different photographs can preserve how the day actually unfolded.
Try this
1. Begin with a wide photograph that shows where you are.
2. Photograph the people travelling with you during ordinary moments, not only posed stops.
3. Capture close details such as food, signs, textures or tickets.
4. Record a transition: a road, train, doorway or walk between places.
5. End with a quiet frame that shows how the day finished.
What usually goes wrong
Do not spend the whole trip collecting only landmarks. Avoid taking so many near-identical frames that the meaningful moments disappear inside the camera roll.
