Over the past few months, I have been exploring a side of production that I had not expected to become so interested in: audio engineering.
While working on events, I started learning more about how sound systems are designed, how audio is processed, and how every technical decision affects the final experience for both the audience and performers.
One of the biggest projects I have been working on is helping design and improve the audio setup for a live event venue. This involved researching and selecting equipment, planning the mixer setup, understanding signal flow, organizing wiring systems, and learning how professional audio systems are built.
Working on these systems has helped me understand audio at a much deeper level. Instead of only thinking about the final sound, I have started looking into how sound travels through each stage of the process: from microphones, to mixing, to processing, and finally to the audience.
This experience has also influenced how I think about technology and future projects. Combining software, media, and creative tools is something I have always been interested in, and audio engineering has opened another area where technology can improve creative workflows.
In the future, it would be exciting to explore how these ideas could connect with some of my own software and video-related projects, potentially creating tools that combine automation, artificial intelligence, and creative production.
This Saturday, I will also be helping with another major event, Gayatri Havan, where I will continue working on sound production and participating musically. Each event provides a new opportunity to learn, improve, and understand another part of the production process.
